WELLNESS EXAMS

In the privacy of your own home, your dog, cat, or rabbit will receive a full physical examination.  (Only one house-call fee will apply if more than 1 pet is examined during a single home visit.)

VACCINATIONS

We will assess your pet's exposure risks, and recommend an individualized vaccination plan for your cat or dog.

SICK PET EXAMS

If your pet is unwell, he or she likely will be more comfortable and relaxed without the added stress of travel.  Blood and urine samples may be collected for laboratory testing which will aid in diagnosis. Some testing may even be performed in your own home.   Appropriate medications may be dispensed.  Hospitalization and/or additional testing such as x-rays may be required.  In these cases, we use the services of our associated small animal clinic, Caradoc Animal Clinic.

REFERRALS

We can arrange a referral, if needed, for your pet for more specialized diagnostics or care in areas such as ophthalmology, neurology, cancer management and chemotherapy.

MICROCHIPPING

Microchip implantation and registration can be completed at your home.

RABBIT SURGERY

Surgeries including spays, neuters, bladder stone removal, and dentistry  are performed on Sundays at our associated companion animal hospital (Caradoc Animial Clinic).

and OTHER LAB TESTS

Some testing such as ear swab cytology, skin swab cytology, or fine needle aspirates (FNA) can be performed in your home for rapid diagnosis of ear infections and some skin masses.  Heartworm testing and tick-borne disease testing can also be performed at home.
